I know there's a subreddit just for BO but there's not nearly enough activity on that sub like this one, so I apologize for posting here, with that being said. What the hell is going on with the lobbies on BO?! I play on the PS3 so I'm used to running into the typical boosters and hackers every so often, but today I decided to play some TDM on Core, nothing special, and basically every lobby I got put into, it was hacked. I'm not talking boosters or basic hacking, I'm talking that I would spawn, get glitched or some shit to a certain part of the map and get killed by 2 people who were OUTSIDE of the map. What the hell, seriously?I get that this game is old and it shouldn't matter but fuck, I really enjoy playing this game, I loved it when it first came out but now it seems getting a simple game on TDM is nearly impossible anymore.
Every year for the past four or five years I've spent the late summer/early fall returning to each of the old CoDs in hopes that I can steal a little nostalgia before the new CoD comes out. Sometimes it is a spectacular experience, and sometimes it's just too stressful to dedicate too much time to because of the hacking or the bad lag.I've already run through campaigns for CoD 1, CoD UO, CoD 2, a little of both FH and BR1, and all of CoD 3. I began PS3 multiplayer last week in CoD 4, and I'm doing WaW this week and moving on to MW2 next week.
CoD 4 last week was fucking awesome. I'm almost 100% certain that I experienced zero hacking the whole time, and even the lag wasn't that bad. I pumped about 20 hours in and had a hell of a good time. This week.not so much.
WaW is wrecked, and it breaks my heart since WaW is probably my favorite next to MW2.My point is that things are probably not ever going to be how they were when each CoD was new, and you just have to suck it up and be grateful for the 30 or 60 minutes you can get in when things seem legit. I have a backup plan of returning to nazi zombies in WaW if the hax make me too crazy. It's always a good time to solo a hundred rounds on Shi No Numa if multiplayer is dead or is just full of jackoffs.
UPDATE 27th October 2018: Treyarch has threatened to ban those who continue to use the super speed exploit in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer. As we reported below, players have discovered a glitch that allows them to equip multiple copies of the same perk in multiplayer. Players have used this to stack the Skulker perk, giving them super speed while crouched. In a new post on the, Treyarch said it had cleared the create-a-class entries of those players it had tracked as using the exploit 'as a warning', and threatened to ban repeat offenders after this point. As expected, the exploit will be snuffed out in an upcoming update.Treyarch has an enforcement policy for Black Ops 4 that deals with those who abuse exploits. The first offense for glitching sparks a temporary suspension from playing online and a reset for their stats, emblems and paintjobs. First offenders also have their online splitscreen pulled and leaderboard entries wiped. It's a harder line for 'extreme or repeat offenses'. These players get a permanent suspension from playing online and have all their stats, emblems and paintjobs reset. They'll also be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.'
Play nice out there!' Treyarch said.ORIGINAL STORY 26th October 2018: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer players are exploiting a recently-discovered glitch that lets them speed around the map while crouched. This glitch lets players equip the Skulker perk multiple times. The Skulker perk lets you move faster while crouched and prone. Under normal circumstances, the perk can be equipped just once. But this glitch lets you equip it three times - and it appears the speed boost stacks. There are already a number of videos on YouTube explaining how to activate this glitch. It involves joining a friend's lobby, setting up a class with no perks, and having the host switch to custom game lobby and back to normal lobby while you hover over and then select the Skulker perk for each perk slot.Once you've done this, you can head into a multiplayer map, crouch and speed around the map.
Micrografx designer viewer download for pc. Players have already run up against those exploiting this glitch in online competitive play, recorded footage and flagged it on. From from fromIt's not the case that multiplayer is overrun with players exploiting this glitch right now, but, clearly, it's affecting a number of multiplayer games. Over on the Black Ops 4 subreddit, players are calling on developer Treyarch to patch the exploit out, which I'm sure is a case of when, not if.Thankfully, this isn't something that's possible in Blackout, the battle royale mode, as this doesn't use the traditional multiplayer's Perk 10 system.
